So close and still not there yet.
Overall a decent performance by the team, but this time it was not enough. The level was quite high in this years GO, and we were shortened down from 7 to 4 players:
3 being injured before the competition
Juniors:
Zakinah Haidari
- lost a close fight to UKR
Danilo Zapata
- lost a close one to USA
Seniors:
Milad Haidari:
- Won first against KOS
- Won second against NED
- Lost 3 fight to rank one from ESP (who took gold), but in s real tuff fight won in the last seconds.
Hassan Ali Amer:
- lost a close fight in 0,13 sec where the center referee's decision went against us.
Even though both fighters were stepping out in exact the same time, the center referee choose to punish Hassan and thus it wasn’t due to the other being better, but on the referees error.
Good job but no time to rest. Let’s continue the journey in Poland next weekend:
- Milad Haidari - 68 kg senior male
- Hassan Ali Amer -87 kg senior male
The rest of the team will preparing for Dracula Open end of October.
