Happy Eid Al-Adha
This Muslim celebration is rooted in a common story known from all three Abrahamic religions. Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Namely the account of Ibrahim's (Abraham's) obedience to God, when he is revealed to have to sacrifice his own son. God sees his obedience, and instead sends a ram to be sacrificed.
I would like to wish all Muslims a blessed Eid celebration, with the hope that we as believers will show respect and acceptance towards each other, despite our different religious backgrounds. Regardless of whether we are Christians, Jews or Muslims, we share faith in God and have many common values. Ex. charity and care for our fellow human beings.
